MLP Earnings Season Begins and Diminished Beta to WTI

Jeff Sharon is the Managing Director, Head of North America Institutional Sales, at OFI Global Asset Management, an OppenheimerFunds company. Mr. Sharon works with institutional prospects and clients in a business development capacity, and is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. In this role, he is responsible for articulating OFI Global’s diversified strategies, investment thesis, processes, management and performance to clients.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Mr. Sharon held a similar role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he helped lead institutional investment and consulting business to non-profit, government and trade association organizations in the southeastern United States. He began his career in 1994 as a senior client manager at Putnam Investments, and followed that up with a leadership role in business development at Trusco Capital Management.
Mr. Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Florida Atlantic University in 1993. He is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association and sits on the Board of Directors of Children’s Home Society, Children’s Home Society Foundation, The Faine House and the Orlando Science Center.
