Bill Raynor is a Vice President of Institutional Sales at OFI Global Asset Management, an OppenheimerFunds company. In this role he works with institutional prospects and clients in a business development capacity and is responsible for articulating OFI Global’s diversified strategies, investment thesis, processes, management and performance.
As an industry veteran with over 17 years of asset management experience, Mr. Raynor brings a broad range of expertise to his clients from his years as a relationship manager and innovator in the areas of asset management and institutional and wealth management product and business development. He provides his institutional clients with the insights, research, strategies and tools that OFI Global Asset Management offers to meet the investment needs of these organizations and their constituents. His thought leadership and consultative approach allows him to serve his clients effectively. Bill has worked closely with institutional state clients, as well as corporate and endowment clients. Early in his career while at Merrill Lynch, Bill helped design and implement one of the industry’s first national 529 plans and functioned as a government relations liaison on many state and federal, legislative and policy initiatives. He also spent over six years with the Massachusetts State Senate, last serving as special counsel to the Chairman of the Senate Ways & Means Committee.
Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and his JD from New England Law Boston. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. He holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63 and 51 licenses.
